The Inter-Ex 2026 will
take place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September,
and as usual early pilots are already welcome on Friday 4th September.
As we informed in November, the Inter-Ex 2026 will take place in Havay, Belgium, near Mons, on the Franco-Belgian border. The Model Club Havay will kindly host our event. The club has permits, publicity and spectator security in place, so Inter-ex 2026 will likely be an event also open to the public. The club offers great facilities, space for camping and a lot of experience with organising events.
Some information to begin with, more details will follow as they come in: - Camping is possible with tents, caravans or campers on the field. - The club will provide electricity by a generator and toilets. - The co-ordinates of the airfield are: 50.35264, 3.99809 - The club a has payment system for convenient handling of all necessary transactions in one place. - The club will most probably organise the catering with the use of a foodtruck.
We are looking forward to an Inter-Ex with many pilots, many creative ideas and the best possible collegial spirit. We will return with more information and a link to the subscription form in April or May, but if you have any questions at this moment, please feel free to contact us. Airplane swarm in flight (Special event) For this year, we abandoned the special theme for your designs, but we will invite everyone to participate in one special event, the multi-plane flight. We would like to see as many planes as possible in the air at the same time. Our ambition is to fly with all available pilots and to use simpler planes for this purpose. Many of us already have a plane for the Foxgame. For those who do not, we propose to build one of the following planes. They are all constructed in Depron and can be built in a weekend. Of course, the event is open to all models but there could be collisions so it is best to plan a basic model.

Inter-Ex is the world of those devoted to experimental modelling. Starting in the eighties in Germany, Belgium and Holland a steady group of "experimental modellers" got together because of their mutual interest. To realise "off the beaten track" ideas by creating own structures and bring it to fly. The idea must not necessarily come from us, there are more modellers in the world than truly original ideas. The structure is the builders choice, often based on proven methods. Than we build the experiment by ourselves. And the the great moment comes: Does it fly or not. sometimes it does, sometimes not - but this is the experimental idea we love so. In the mean time Inter-Ex is well known in great parts of Europe. |
